Nativa:Leaf came to us with a unique challenge: to establish their brand as a high-end wholesale provider of CBD. We needed to craft a sophisticated brand identity that would distinguish them from the competition and resonate with their professional reseller audience. The goal was to move beyond the clichéd "cannabis culture" look and create a refined, trustworthy image that accurately reflected the quality of their products.
Our strategic solution was to showcase the quality of their product and process through high-end photography from the plantation. These intimate, atmospheric images offer a rare glimpse behind the scenes, building crucial trust with potential clients. We complemented this visual direction with a subtle and elegant color palette of eggshell white and a warm off-black, which provides a soft, non-aggressive feel. The clean, medical-style typography was a deliberate choice to communicate transparency, precision, and a straightforward, professional ethos.
The key to this project was our deep involvement in the naming process. We understood that the right name was critical to the brand's success. The name Nativa:Leaf was carefully selected to evoke a sense of natural quality and timeless tradition. The colon was a strategic addition to give the name a distinctive visual flair, ensuring it was not only memorable but also stood out in the marketplace.
