A Play of Lights
Akris approached us with an exciting project: their latest collaboration with Katalin Deér. Deér had created stunning photogrammetry pieces, capturing light in its purest, most dynamic forms of color and movement. These photograms were transformed into prints for Albert Kriemler's latest collection, and our task was to translate them into a compelling concept for the Défilé in Paris.
Inspirred by the photograms, the theme of light, and the unique venue — a historic mall — we developed a scenographic concept. We envisioned casting the venue's prominent poles into light. Each pole was wrapped in LEDs, showcasing animated sequences of Deér's photograms. The animations were uniquely tailored for each pole, evolving in tandem with the collection's looks as they made their way down the runway.
The magic lay in wrapping these poles entirely in LED and immersing them in animated visuals derived from Kriemler’s and Deér’s work. The result was a truly immersive experience, enveloping the audience in a mesmerizing interplay of light and color inspired by the photograms.
