Bringing SS24 Paris Fashion Show to Life with 3D Art
Albert Kriemler masterfully bridged the gap between tradition and modernity. While the prints, fabrics, and overall aesthetics exuded a distinctly modern vibe, the musicians on stage, the stage design, and the music leaned towards tradition. Our mission was to introduce an unobtrusive yet contemporary visual dimension to the background – a subtle touch of modernity that seamlessly complemented the show without overshadowing its core elements.
In line with the provided brief, we crafted a mesmerizing 3D realm adorned with poppies that moved gracefully, almost as if they were dancing in harmony with the music. Leveraging the distinctive painting style of Lizzie for texturing the 3D models, we breathed life into this world, ensuring it seamlessly and subtly integrated itself into the entire show.
Just as with the right amount of sauce, we understood the importance of not overdoing it: "less is more". To maintain the perfect balance, we limited ourselves to just 1-2 3D models. These were elegantly animated using a subtle wind simulation, meticulously synchronized with the music's dynamic rhythm. The final flourish, in the form of color grading and pacing, was skillfully applied during the editing process.
