Bringing the collection to life – literally.

Challenge

In this collection, creative director Albert Kriemler collaborated with contemporary artist Geta Bratescu. “To bring joy to our lives” was the silver lining throughout her work, and inspired Albert Kriemler’s approach to this collection. Our objective was to apply this essence to the digital campaign.

Solution

We allowed ourselves to approach Geta Bratescu’s paintings and Albert Kriemler’s prints like children: We looked at them and imagined what these shapes, forms and characters would do if they were alive. We animated these tiny stories, giving only a minimalistic glimpse into their world and let the viewer’s imagination do the rest.

Secret Sauce

The childlike approach inspired us to create a music track to accompany the animated world. We turned Greta’s philosophy into our program: having as much fun and joy while working on this as we possibly can. The childlike approach to imagine how these prints and paintings would move made it possible to capture and share the fun. On top we added a stop motion effect to make it feel a tad more nostalgic.
